You are here: What is Price ea?
An item's Price Ea (price each) value on the Sales Invoice window is the value at which the item will be sold. AIMsi always uses the best price for Price ea and looks at all of the following to determine what that is.
- The item's Ourprice value, as entered on the Enter New Inventory window. This is the default price.
- The item's Retail value, as entered on the Enter New Inventory window, if the workstation is set up to use retail price at point of sale on the Work Station window. The difference between the Retail price value and the Ourprice value displays as the Discount value on the Sales Invoice window and the Ourprice value is the final sale price.
- The Price Level (A, B, or C) set up for the workstation on the Work Station window. This price level takes priority over the price level set up for the customer when both are present.
- The Price Level (A, B, or C) set up for the customer on the Customer Defaults window or the Add/Change Customer window - Billing tab.
For example, the Retail value of an item is $100. The Ourprice value of the same item is $150. The customer purchasing the item is set up to use Price Level B and Price Level B is set up as 5% off. If the item is on sale for 10% off, AIMsi displays that value the Price ea value because it is a better price than Price Level B.
