Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Tri-Tech does not rent, trade, loan, or sell your personal information, or any other information which may identify you, to third parties. We are committed to protecting our customers' privacy. Tri-Tech Software, "Software", is defined as AIM, AIMsi, Consignment Ease, Consignment Success and PC>Poll Software and any custom or mobile application created by Tri-Tech for use by our customers.
Tri-Tech Active-e Services, "Services", are the services purchased to enable external connectivity to AIM. This does not include web hosting.

2. Information Collection

We collect your information when you purchase and use our software, purchase hardware or supplies we sell, attend a webinar/training session, attend our sponsored events (tradeshows), download content from our website, when you interact with certain portions of our website and when you communicate with us via phone, email, chat or otherwise.

3. What Information is Collected?

We may collect both personal information and non-personal information.  Personal information is information provided by you, such as your name, or information that can be used alone or in combination with other information to personally identify you, such as your email address, phone number, and business.
We will use your information to communicate with you. We will not share your information outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order, email you product information, etc.
There are also times that information is shared with partner companies in order to troubleshoot software and services issues. But this information is only shared with partners that your company also has a business relationship with and/or you are using their services.
Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

4. How information is collected

Directly - we collect it when you give it to us. For example: when you make a purchase, use live chat or email us.
Usage - Through use of installed software & purchased services. Tri-Tech may collect and use technical data and related information to facilitate and/or confirming authorized use of products, services, and/or Maintenance to and by you.
Cookies - We collect information using "cookies" and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website.  "Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by the browser on your computer's hard drive. We use a cookie to store a unique session identifier, which allows us to maintain shopping cart and website selections from one page request to the next, and maintain session information from one visit to the next. Tri-Tech does not use cookies to store/retrieve your personal information. By default, most web browsers have both types of cookies enabled. If you prefer, you can always change your browser options to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting cookies. However, if you do not accept cookies you may not be able to access some of our services.  

5. Why Information is Collected

Providing your personal information is optional but  necessary to better serve you. This may include, but is not limited to: use of certain services we offer, access to Tri-Tech content (such as whitepapers and webinars), customer support and training services, and shipping your orders. Subject to applicable laws and regulations, Tri-Tech may use this information to improve its products and to provide enhanced services or technologies to you. If you choose to withhold this information we may be unable to provide you with the requested service(s).

6. Orders

To buy from us, you must provide contact information (name and shipping address) and financial information (credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use this information to contact you.

7. Shipping

We use an outside shipping company to ship orders and a credit card processing company to bill for goods and services.  

9. Sharing

We partner with another party to provide specific services. When the user signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

10. Security

Your account information is password-protected for your privacy and security. We use industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions in certain areas such as our shopping-cart and account pages.
We also protect your offline information. All sensitive information is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access. Available information may include but is not limited to name, email address, address and phone number.

11. Surveys & Contests

Occasionally we may have surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address) and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

We may change this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the revised Privacy Policy in the “Privacy Policy” section of the Tri-Tech website (“Website”). The revised Privacy Policy is effective immediately when posted on the Website. Your continued use of the Website after the effectiveness of such revisions will constitute your acknowledgment and acceptance of the terms of the revised Privacy Policy.

14. Children’s Online Privacy

While the content of our Website is suitable for all audiences, no person under the age of eighteen (18) should submit any information. We will never knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information from any person under the age of eighteen.

15. Opt-out Instructions

Users who no longer wish to receive our electronic newsletter or promotional materials can contact us directly and/or when applicable click opt-out on the bottom of electronic messages. It may take up to twenty days (20) days for your opt-out choices to be fully effective for electronic or e-mail messages and up to ninety days (90) for physical mailers. Our systems require time to update we reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently.
